As the Lightning enter the 2007-08 season, the team arrives with a vengeance. After losing so suddenly to the New Jersey Devils, the team is looking for any reason to make it to top of the NHL. This season, the Lightning came into the season with new logo designs. The sharpened, more modernized logo hopefully symbolizes the teams sharpened and talented players. The uniform change is the team's first change in 15 years.
The team has come together recently in light of the announcement of them being sold to a group represented by their general manager, Doug MacLean. Eventually, the deal was terminated, but fear of its resurrection still lingers to this day.
For the 2008 NHL All-Star Game, the Tampa Lightning has chosen forwards Vincent Lecavalier and Martin St. Louis to represent the team during this exciting game! The two will also represent the Eastern Conference when they head to Atlanta, Georgia.
